The Captain's Table is one of a special few who have been awarded two rosettes by the AA, in their 2006 Guide, and the Michelin Bib Gourmand - awarded for serving good food at a good value.

Pascal Pommier, a chef with 25 years experience owns the restaurant with his wife Jo, said "No matter how many accolades you have, it is the customers who count. Our passion is the customers and we want to give them a meal to remember and I want to do cooking that we can be remembered for."

Breads, sorbets and pastries are among the foods made in the kitchens, and the Pommiers give priority to top quality local produce whenever possible. We also provide catering to your home - see the CT2U page for details.
